Kymy and Lilly - Not just another photo shoot...

Shooting photos of Kymy and Lilly are not what you would call a "normal" photo shoot.  Why you might ask... well that would be because they are both my granddaughters and it was the first day that they met! Our daughter and her baby girl, Lilly, came up to Wyoming to visit and I thought "HEY!! I can get some awesome shots of the two of them!" ....... Looking back, I wonder what the heck I was thinking!!

Kymy is your typical 2 and a half year old. HIGH ENERGY and absolutely loves her "Gamama" & "Pawpa". She hasn't had to share them with anyone because Lilly lives in Oklahoma and is only 4 and a half months old. However, Kymy at HIGH ENERGY is what my husband, Joe, describes as having a blender full of stuff and turning it on with out the lid. (Anyone who has had a 2 - 3 year old knows this is soooooooooo true!) We did find out one thing that I didn't include in my planning for this photo shoot. Kymy doesn't particularly like to share her Gramama.... and that kind of left me in a awkward pickle. 

So I tried to put on the photog hat, and do things as best I could.  We didn't get too many great photos of Kymy AND Lilly, but we definitely got some awesome ones of Lilly, and some really great ones of Kymy. HA!! Putting them together wasn't in the cards.  Kymy wanted to play with Lilly and kiss her and etc, I either wasn't fast enough or in the right spot every time it happened. Why you might ask... well that's because Kymy was too worried about what her Gramama was doing... *giggles*
